What happens after I submit my application?

Once we have received your application, you will get an automatic email message confirming the receipt of your application. As you fill in the application, it is your responsibility to ensure that all the entered information in the application is correct. If your contact information is incorrect, we cannot send you important messages or offer you the available apartments.

The applicants' study details are always checked when handling the applications. By submitting an application, you agree to Hoas checking your details.

Your application will be placed on hold until Hoas has checked your study details using the list of approved exchange students and degree students sent by your place of study in Finland. Hoas cannot reply to any queries regarding applications before we have received the information. Read more on receiving a housing offer.

Please note that the fact that we have received your application is not an automatic guarantee that you will get an apartment.
