You can install a peephole, a security lock or a chain on your apartment door after asking Hoas for permission. You will be responsible for paying any costs incurred. When you move out, you must leave peephole and security chain in place and not remove them. Hoas will not compensate you for any peepholes or security chains that you installed and are leaving behind.
Hoas will not take the safety lock's key for itself. You must take into account that the Hoas door opening service cannot be performed if the safety lock is on. When moving out of the apartment you must remove the safety lock you had installed. You must also repair and cover the holes and other marks caused by the safety lock in a safe and durable manner as determined by lock companies. If you have not removed the safety lock installed by you, Hoas will remove it and invoice the costs from you.
Hoas does not maintain any peepholes, security locks or chains installed in the apartment.

Hoas does not install or maintain any window shades or Venetian blinds in the apartments (with a few exceptions). If you want to have window shades or Venetian blinds in the apartment, you may install them, but you have to leave them behind when you move out. This is to avoid excessive drill holes around the window frames. Please note that you cannot ask Hoas for compensation for window shades or blinds left in the apartment.
If your apartment has window shades or Venetian blinds that are broken, you can either fix them or remove them. Hoas does not maintain them.
