Apartment inspection and handing over the keys agreement

Even if the tenants sign a handing over the keys agreement, an apartment inspection may be carried out at the time of moving out.

When a key transfer agreement is signed, the new tenant agrees to accept the cleaning level of the apartment as is, but not the general condition of the apartment. If a preliminary inspection has revealed problems with the condition of the apartment (for example, a broken door or a wall painted red), the inspector will revisit to check these problems have been corrected.  If they have not been corrected, the inspector will order the required work to be done.

If you send your key transfer agreement to Hoas late and for example a cleaning has already been ordered, the incurred cost will be charged from the tenant moving out.
