Student homes in a family-friendly residential area

Good availability, apartments often available.

Two-storey buildings in a quiet and child-friendly residential area. There are excellent parks around the property. The Tuomarinkylä horse riding stables and the old mansion renovated as a museum are also nearby. Services of Tammisto, Vantaa are about 2 kilometres away. You can reach the centre of Helsinki by bus in just over half an hour.

Peltokyläntie houses consist of two and three room apartments for families and couples. Shared apartments are offered to those moving alone. Each apartment has either a terrace or a porch.

The tenants can use the club room and the gym.

Very happy living here! This area is great for a person who likes to live away from the city centre, it's very family-friendly, green, and peaceful in Siltamäki. You get to enjoy nature, dog parks, the Kerava river, and Hoas Suutarila tenants get access to gardening plots by the park! The bus connection with 611 to Sörnäinen metro and 562 to Malmi & Itäkeskus are good for getting around Helsinki. Lots of stores and services in Vantaa's Tammisto and Tikkurila are also accessible by bus and bike. The two downsides to living here is 1) the yearly 15-20e raise in rent which seems uncalled for considering the old worn-out condition of the apartments (everything works fine, but the floors are an ugly patchwork) and 2) lack of good grocery store nearby. The Tammisto K-Citymarket & Lidl are 1km away, the closest store is K-market Töyrynummi 700m away which is very limited and expensive. You get used to doing the groceries in Malmi or Tammisto though!
