Frontpage Tenants Losing your key

Losing your key

If you lose your key, call Hoas phone service. You must immediately submit a written report of the loss at the Hoas service centre. At the service centre, you can also pick up a new key to replace the one you lost. These instructions concerns also other keys e.g. keys for the waste disposal or garage.

You will be charged for the new key according to the tenant charge sheet and the payment bill will be sent by post. If you are invoiced for the lost key at the time of moving out, the payment will be deducted from your deposit.

For security reasons, the lock may need to be rekeyed. The tenant is responsible for the cost of rekeying and/or new keys. The prices of lost keys, additional keys and rekeying are listed in the tenant charge sheet.

I locked myself out

In case you locked yourself out of your room or apartment, call Securitas door opening service.

If your subtenant loses the key

If your subtenant loses the key, you must immediately submit a written report of the loss at the Hoas service centre. The subtenant can only get a new key if he/she has an authorisation letter from the primary tenant.

The primary tenant is responsible for the cost of the new key and/or a possible rekeying of the lock according to the tenant charge sheet.
